Covid-19

Our team is sending our best wishes for health, balance, stress reduction, strength to stand behind one’s convictions, stability, adjustment to our new “non-normal,” and a dose of pleasure where possible.  While we have begun to open our office for testing and continue to conduct telehealth sessions for our therapy clients, we are resolute in remaining flexible in being able to meet current needs.  If face to face meetings are preferred, but being inside does not feel right to you or for your children, we can try find working solutions to offer support in ways that we can.

If you do come into the office, we are taking strict precautious including temperature checks, serving only single clients or families at a time, leaving doors open, and cleaning and sterilizing following each visit.  We are maintaining recommended distance and also have masks and gloves for use.

Dr. Weissman has current openings for therapy clients via teletherapy utilizing video conferencing platforms or face to face formats.  He understands how this is a very difficult time for our community emotionally, cognitively, mentally, spiritually, physically, and financially. Dr. Weissman is accepting new clients for individual, group, and family therapy.  He has already conducted successful on-line group parenting sessions focused on establishing digital balance during this time when we are all tethered to screens – children and adults alike. Dr. Weissman specializes in working with transitional age youth, with preteens and teenagers, with men’s issues, anxiety and depression, executive functioning weaknesses, ADHD, and digital addictions.  Dr. Weissman also remains available as a speaker at conferences or for educational forums. He is most recently scheduled to present for the California Psychological Association.
