What is NeuroSense Psychology?
Dr. Jeanine Biseman shares about her practice, Neurosense and how they are making a difference in the field of Neuropsychology.
Neuropsychology is studying how the brain relates to behavior. My sub specialty of pediatric neuropsychology is focused is on children, development, and understanding how the brain develops from in utero into young adulthood. In my practice – I focus on kids, adolescents, young adults and the family systems around them. Neuropsychology is a field that I think is often equated only with assessment. What we value at Neurosense is a much more holistic approach. We really delve into new treatment planning, intervention, and direct therapy by continually checking in with families ourselves to make sure kids and adolescents have everything they need.
Our brain is our most valued organ in the body. It’s our central hub that directs everything – we want to care for it just as our heart and our lungs. By starting early with kids, we can have lifelong impact.
